Golden Stars Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 2019 by entrepreneur and author Starlotte Johnson. The organization was created to provide support services for at-risk youth, teen moms, pregnant teens, children of inmates and drug-addicted parents and underprivileged families, by offering career training, financial assistance, childcare assistance, and mentoring them with life skills that will impact their future.
Our Founder Ms. Johnson has overcome many challenges in her childhood and adulthood, being a teen mom herself, affected by drug-addicted family members in and out of the criminal justice system and growing up experiencing many negative obstacles as a child, teenager and, woman. Starlotte is a fighter and true example of what it means to be a survivor. That is why this work is personal for her, she knows first hand how continuing her education and pursuing a college degree and getting mentorship from different people over the years have positively impacted her life. Mrs. Johnson is the owner of 2 childcare centers in the Houston metro area and also an author, a mother and a wife.
